Do you struggle with Inbox overwhelm? Are you having to dig through piles of junk mail and old emails before finding what you need? Then you’re in luck! Because today we’ve got advice from some of our very own virtual assistants who know best how to keep an organized inbox.
Today we’re asking our assistants: What is your best tip for an organized inbox? See below how they answered:
“I love setting up rules for emails to send them to organized folders. That way, I can focus on the priority items or notice when a specific contact has reached out to me.”
Erin:
“Rules are great for emails. I also like flagging ones for either specific tasks or adding reminders so once you’re done you can archive or delete. For moving, wardrobe boxes are the best, with shoes on the bottom, but if not, rolling your clothes fits a lot in a box.”
Tina:
“For an organized email box, I like to use labels and filters. Also, to keep track of priority emails, I usually will flag (or star) them as going through the inbox so it’s easier to find and return to.”
“I like to keep email inboxes organized and as empty as possible with folders labeled by action, sender or topic. I also take time periodically to unsubscribe from promotional emails that are no longer needed/wanted.”
“Filters and Folders! if every email has a space to live, then you can have them sort themselves to keep your inbox clean and sorted.”
