Can you believe it?!

We’re heading toward the end of March, which means that Q1 is wrapping up.  If you are a small business owner, you know that the start of the year is always exciting- a fresh start. However, you also know how overwhelming it can be to have so many ideas, goals, and milestones that you want to accomplish by the end of the first quarter, let alone the year.

The steps that you take at the beginning of the year, are the ones that will help you when the year is coming to a close. Who wants to be stressed at the end of the year? That is the time to rejoice in what you accomplished. Get organized NOW.

The first step in accomplishing your goals is to get O-R-G-A-N-I-Z-E-D.

  1. Create master to-do list for the year.
  2. Within that list include your needs and wants for your business.
  3. Rank what is most important to accomplish in the first half of the year.
  4. Focus your Q1 energy on the top three needs for your business. If you find yourself with extra time before the end of the quarter, work on a want.

As we head into Q2, check in with your master to-do list and choose your top three needs for Q2. Rinse and repeat throughout the year.

Now make a plan

You’ve got your list. You have your needs and your wants for your business. Now what? DELEGATE.

Here is our biggest tip. Are you ready? …
You cannot do it all yourself.

Knowing when you need help is the first step on the path to success. You, as the business owner, are in charge of the big picture. The every day, important, yet mundane tasks should be delegated. You do not need to spend time on data entry, lead emails, bookkeeping or basic social media. Make a plan to delegate these tasks to people you trust.

Hiring a MOD Assistant may just be the key you are looking for in building your small business this year.
