It feels like we save all of our fun lists for Summer, Fall, and the Holidays—while Spring gets stuck holding the bag of responsible to-dos like deep cleaning, home maintenance, and organizational overhauls. And don’t get us wrong: we love a good Spring Cleaning moment (and trust that we’ll be right back to it soon). But the shift into a new season is also an opportunity to take a moment to slow down and let yourself enjoy the first wave of warm weather.
Consider this your reminder to balance the chores with some fun by crossing a few of these items off your own Spring bucket list in the coming weeks. Let’s go!
The Perfect Spring Bucket List:
🌷 Visit your local botanical garden or flower fields
🚲 Go on a long bike ride
🌱 Host a garden party
🍀 Find a local St. Patrick’s Day celebration or parade
🍅 Cook a new Spring recipe (like one of these from Half Baked Harvest)
🚘 Take a day trip
🎹 Go listen to live music in town
🌳 Plant some flowers or a new tree (perfect for Earth Day!)
⛰️ Explore your local state park
🚜 Visit your local farmer’s market and find fresh seasonal fruits, veggies, and flowers
💐 Get crafty and make floral arrangements for your home
🌻 Make a floral arrangement to surprise a friend or family member
🥧 Bake a pie with fresh fruit from the farmer’s market
🪻 Pick wildflowers
🔥 Roast s’mores over a fire on a chilly Spring night
🧩 Start a new puzzle
👔 Donate old clothes
📚 Plan a bookstore crawl with friends
👗 Go thrifting for a new Spring outfit
🌅 Go on an evening walk and enjoy the sunset
⛺ Start planning for Summer Camp
🧳 Plan and book your Summer vacation
💖 Make a Spring vision board
🥾 Go on a hike complete with a picnic
⚽ Attend a local sporting event
🧽 And, yes, schedule a major Spring Clean
So, yes, while you should still schedule those HVAC appointments and swap out your warmer clothes for linens, don’t forget to take a moment to literally stop and smell the flowers!…and maybe put in that order for seasonal allergy meds. It can be easy to have our hearts so set on Summer that we don’t take the time to enjoy the beautiful months full of Spring weather and activities. We hope our Spring Bucket list inspires you to try something new this year!
